OREANDA-NEWS. May 15, 2007. The open-hearth workers ended April with record indicators, the record ones for the last 5 years: the average daily steel smelting amounted to 52.7 ladles and on May, 1-st they smelted 60 ladles of steel what is the greatest production achievement since the the 80’s.

This is not only our success but that of all Zaporizhstal workers who provided the shop with the required stock and materials. ‘First and foremost these are the sinter producers, iron makers and suppliers’, — Valentin Kharlashko, Open-Hearth shop Deputy Superintendent stressed. And of course a great contribution was made by our steel makers. On that day the work efforts were wade by three teams: No 3 team ( with Andrey Kushch as the shift supervisor) and No. 2 team (with Alexandr Malyi as the shift supervisor) and No.4 team (with Andrey Gotovkin as the shift supervisor).
