OREANDA-NEWS. Heads of national postal operators of Hungary and Russia with direct participation of the representatives of All-Russian Trade Union of Communications Workers of RF and the second mentioned country held joint meeting on 11 May.

In his ceremony speech I. Syrtsov, Russian Post Director General spoke for enlargement of development between Russian and Hungarian Post. He also noted the significance of social responsibilities and cooperation aiming to increase postal employees’ social security.

The parties agreed that overall exchange between postal operators of both countries will forward the industry in Russia and Hungary, the participation of the Trade Unions’ representatives in the discussion will improve cooperation between them.

"Having constructive dialogue with trade union and balanced social partnership system postal operator can focus on its competitiveness improvement. Postal employees themselves are interested in it as increasing profitability of company-operator guarantees higher wages and better working environments", noted I. Shutz, Post of Hungary Deputy Director General.

Russian and Hungarian Trade Unions of Communications Workers have been cooperating since 60-s in the former century. Nowadays political and economic situations in both countries have changed immensely, thus they should find new ways for relationships.

"We have been dealing with Trade Union of Communications Workers of Hungary for a long time and we managed to set good relationships which will help us to improve development between Russian and Hungarian Post", said A. Nazeykin, Chairman of All-Russian Trade Union of Communications Workers Central Committee of the RF.
