OREANDA-NEWS. On June 27, 2007 INPROM's Board of Directors at its session made a decision to establish the company's 28th branch in Ufa, the administrative center of Russia's Bashkortostan Republic, in Western Urals, reported the press-centre of  INPROM.

"The decision falls under the company's strategy to expand eastward to the Urals and then to Siberia, as INPROM intends to become Russia's largest independent steel service company, with a network of 42 steel service centers in most industrialized regions by the year 2012, each equipped with most modern steel processing equipment," said Board Chairman Andrei Averkin.
