OREANDA-NEWS. At the Gazprom Headquarters, Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee has chaired today a joint meeting of the Gazprom Emergencies Commission and Civil Defense Board.

The meeting particularly examined issues relevant to ensuring efficient operation of the natural and technogenic emergencies data collection, processing and application system.

Within the Gazprom corporate governance system enhancement the participants discussed also issues on sustainable operation of emergencies defense divisions in the new subsidiaries.

Additionally, the participants heard information on maintenance and major directions to enhance regulatory and procedural basis for Gazprom’s corporate civil defense system.

In the result of the meeting Gazprom’s core business units, subsidiaries and organizations were entrusted to perform the relevant tasks.
