OREANDA-NEWS. July 26, 2007. Belarusian Potash Company (BPC) reached another agreement on a higher price. Being the winner of a tender for the supply of potash fertilizers to Sri Lanka, BPC has determined a new price level which increased by USD 95 per ton as compared to the July 2006 level, amounting to USD 300 per ton.

Earlier in June, BPC signed a contract with a Vietnamese company to supply around 30,000 thousand tons of potash fertilizers at USD 295 per ton. This was another price increase in the international market and a USD 100 step over the potash fertilizers price level for Vietnam last December.

BPC's success in Vietnam and Sri Lanka made it possible to sign contracts with Malaysian and Indonesian importers at USD 300 per ton in early July.
