OREANDA-NEWS. During first six months of 2007 Lifosa AB which is a part of MCC EuroChem produced 391,1 thousand tons of main product - diammonium phosphate, which enjoys stable demand in world market. It’s 4,1% more than the last year figure, reported the press-centre of EuroChem.

546,2 thousand tons of sulphuric acid was produced  by the Company (103,3% vs. 2006) and 202,17 thousand tons of phosphoric acid (104,9%). Production of aluminium fluoride reached 5,15 thousand tons, which is 103% vs. last year.

As for feed phosphates, there was the only monocalcium phosphate production - 34,16 thousand tons (5,8% more than during the same period of 2006). Cessation of dicalcium phosphate and monodicalcium phosphate was due to European market conditions, says Production Director Rimantas Gokas.

The production growth reason in Lifosa AB was a stable condition in phosphate fertilizers world market, as well as overhaul of main workshops which was completed in the shortest possible time.
