OREANDA-NEWS. August 10, 2007. S7 Airlines has started regular flights to Ulan-Ude on the Airbus А319 airliner.

The Airbus А319 from the S7 Airlines was the first foreign-made aircraft, that started making flights on a regular basis from the Mukhino airport in the city of Ulan-Ude. Now the flights of S7 Airlines on the Moscow – Ulan-Ude - Moscow route will be carried out on these modern and comfortable А319 aircraft in accordance with the previously announced company plan to renew their aircraft fleet.

”We have made special efforts, so that the airport of the capital city of the Buryatiya Republic could accept modern foreign passenger aircraft. Therefore, for example, we installed special equipment at the city's airport and have trained 12 people from our maintenance personnel to service the foreign made aircraft”, — said Nikolay Kholodov, director of the S7 Airlines branch office in Ulan-Ude.
