OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2007. CJSC “First Ukrainian International bank” (FUIB) has extended the syndicated loan successfully. The initial loan amount of USD 55 million, attracted in August 2006, almost tripled as the result of considerable resubscription — up to USD 150 million. The Bank stopped accepting applications and on August 17, 2007 signed the Agreement on Funds Attraction, reported the press-centre of FUIB, reported the press-centre of FUIB.

This syndicated loan extension was organised by UniCredit Group, ING Bank N.V and Standard Bank Plc.

The loan interest was decreased from LIBOR +2,90% to LIBOR +1,95%, the loan term — 1 year. It is planned to use the attracted funds for financing of commercial contracts of FUIB clients.

FUIB is one of the few Ukrainian banks having more than 10-year credit history on international markets.

Within 3 preceding years First Ukrainian International bank has been an active participant of the syndicated loans market. The aggregate syndicated loan amount attracted by the Bank has increased within this period from USD 20 million to USD 200 million, at that, the loan interest has decreased from LIBOR +3,95% to LIBOR +1,95%.

This proves the reliability of First Ukrainian International bank and stability of its reputation on international markets.
