OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2007.  “If IZHZ joined Atomenergomash, it would have guaranteed long-term orders,” Kiriyenko said. He explained that under the current development strategy by 2015 Russia is planning to launch no less than two nuclear power units a year. “Besides, we have lots of foreign contracts – which is a guarantee of stable orders for 10–15 years”, reported the press-centre of  Atomenergomash.

Kiriyenko noted that the incorporation of OMZZ into Atomenergomash is not on agenda as that concern has a small share in the nuclear power industry.

Concerning IZHZ, Kiriyenko said that Rosatom is presently negotiating the matter and “we hope to attain mutual understanding.”
