OREANDA-NEWS. The government of Venezuela plans to build an assembly enterprise for autotruck production on the territory of this country together with KAMAZ Inc., the Kamaz press-service reports. It became known through Jorge Rodriguez Gomez, Vice President of Venezuela, at a Russian-Venezuelan business forum. According to Gomez, if the agreement to create this automobile plant is concluded, the Venezuelan party will intend insisting on KAMAZ automobile production technology transfer.

Igor Goryaynov, Export Adviser of the Director General of KAMAZ Inc., said that the Kama automobile plant is also ready for active collaboration. KAMAZ has prepared and transferred to Venezuela its engineering requirements for production already. "Legal forms of cooperation are not determined yet,"Igor Goryaynov noted, - "but everything will be settled in the short run till the end of 2007."
