OREANDA-NEWS. October 2, 2007. The State Oil Company is allocating money and providing technical assistance for the construction, repair and maintenance to be carried out at “Neft Dashlary”. For instance, the construction and repair of four important structures were completed on the eve of the professional holiday of oil workers. The construction of a landing ground for helicopters with two-floor waiting hall, 660-meter trestle connecting the Chvanov settlement with its bridge has already been completed. The construction of the trestle took only 3 months. The trestle was built next to the operating one, exploitation of which is going to be terminated soon. The two-floor administrative building for construction and erection department № 7 was also constructed. Last year, a five-floor dormitory hosting 600 people was renovated in accordance with international standards at “Neft Dashlary”.

The President of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic Rovnag Abdullayev also took part in the opening ceremony of the dormitory. Another dormitory hosting 400 people was completely repaired lately. Up to now three dormitories have been renovated: 2 dormitories, each hosting 400 people and one dormitory hosting 600 people. Currently, two more dormitories (a nine-floor dormitory for women and five-floor dormitory for men) are being renovated. At present, a great deal of work is being done in oil fields. In addition to the roads leading to trestles and oil wells, different areas are also being repaired. Only in the first oil field, 1080-meter trestle was completely renovated. The area № 1043 was also repaired in “Palchig pilpilasi” filed. There are 8 unexploited wells which are going to be exploited after building roads leading to them. There are some other areas with unexploited wells in the field as well. Those sites are also under construction with their entry roads. Engineers are working together with the specialists of the “Neftgazlayiha” institution. Designers are investigating the reliance and potency of the different fields. Therefore, the trestles which have been exploited for decades are protected against collapse during savage winds in “Neft Dashlary”.
