OREANDA-NEWS. October 2, 2007. In January-September 2007, throughput of Murmansk Commercial Seaport (MMTP OJSC) totaled 10.56 million tonnes, the company reports. In the 9-month period the port handled 155,261 wagons and 405 vessels. In September the port’s throughput grew by 14% to 1.25 million tonnes including 77,300 tonnes of general cargo, 1.17 million tonnes of dry bulck (+14.5%, year-on-year). Export grew by 12.4% to 1.2 million tonnes including 0.93 million tonnes of coal, 0.17 million tonnes of apatite, 22,900 tonnes of non-ferrous metal. In September the port handled 155,261 wagons and 405 vessels.
