OREANDA-NEWS. On September 30, 2007, OJSC VolgaTelecom paid off the principal and accrued interest on registered interest-bearing uncertified bonds of 7-U series. The total payment to the bonds holders amounted to RUR 1, 004, 241.80. The total size of 7-U series bonds yield came to RUR 4 241.80 with the yield per a bond RUR 8.48. The Company performed its obligation in full, reports VolgaTelecom's information service.

7-U series bonds of the par value of RUR 2 000 each were registered by Russia's Federal Financial Markets Service on October 25, 2002, 4-39-00137-А. The quantity of issued securities is 500 bonds. Within the framework of regional communication operators' affiliation to OJSC VolgaTelecom registered uncertified bonds of 09 series (state registration number 4-09-00187-А) of OJSC Electrosvyaz of Ulyanovsk oblast were converted into 7-U series bonds. As a result of conversion, a holder of one registered uncertified bond of 09 series of OJSC Electrosvyaz of Ulyanovsk oblast got one registered uncertified bond of 7-U series of OJSC VolgaTelecom. The period of 7-U series bonds retirement was set from July 1 through September 30, 2007. In addition, since October 1, 2007 OJSC VolgaTelecom has set to pay off registered uncertified bonds of 8-U series (registered by Russia's FFMS on October 25, 2002, 4-40-00137-А). The date when the issuer's obligations should be performed is December 30, 2007.

The total amount of the yield on 8-U series bonds (with due account for income tax) is determined to be RUR 4 305.00 and the size of yield per a bond (with due account for income tax) - RUR 8.61.

The bond's yield is charged for the period from the start date of the bonds placement by the issuer to the date of filing the application for the bond's retirement. The application for the bonds retirement may be filed on any day during the retirement period and in this connection the amount due to payment on the bonds will be adjusted based on the end date of the yield payment.
