OREANDA-NEWS. October 5, 2007.  70 best graduates of Turkmenistan secondary schools have arrived flying to Moscow to study in Russian Institutions of Higher Education. This action is a regular milestone in a longstanding and fruitful cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan.

During working meetings this spring Presidents Vladimir Putin and Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov outlined basic guidelines of cooperation, including humanitarian sphere. Education of Turkmen schoolboys in Russian Institutions of Higher Education is a particular demonstration of partnership of the two countries in the field of education.

Being the major Russian engineering and construction company that works in Russia and 15 countries of the world, PJSC Stroytransgaz pays much of attention to charitable cause. Training of new professional personnel for Turkmenistan in the field of oil and gas construction became one further direction in a longstanding and successful cooperation of PJSC Stroytransgaz with the best Russian Education and Research Institutions.

PJSC Stroytransgaz took charge of financial support for 20 out of 70 supernormal Turkmen schoolboys.  They will be educated in such professions as engineering, construction and operation of pipeline transport systems in Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas and Ufa State Oil Technical University, as well as for profession of equipment and process of welding engineering in Tomsk Polytechnic University.  This event is one of directions of bilateral business cooperation that was agreed upon between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov and President of PJSC Stroytransgaz Victor Lorents during their meeting on June 29, 2007.
