OREANDA-NEWS. Rosprirodnadzor, a nature conservation agency, found some violations made by mining subsidiaries of the largest oil & gas companies – TNK-BP, Gazprom Neft, Lukoil, informs Veles Capital' information  service with reference to the message of the Ministry of Natural Resources, after the ministry's head Yuri Trutnev met with management of Rosprirodnadzor.

The violations were found in operation of Uvaneft (TNK-BP’s subsidiary), Meretoyakhneftegas (Gazprom Neft) and LUKOIL-Komi. The violations were mostly related to terms of work completion at deposits given to the companies, some companies delayed land surveying, others fell back behind schedule on extraction of hydrocarbon, and some violated ecological legislation. In view of Veles Capital experts, the given violations are not severe and think that companies will remove those infringements in terms given to them. Such violations occur mostly due to failures of technological (production) process of operations.

On his part, Trutnev noted inadequate delays of examinations, demanding weekly reports regarding measures used against all violators.
