OREANDA-NEWS. October 18 was marked for Novosibirskenergo with the commissioning of a new central heat supply station and a heating main, which were built in the framework of the Company's investment program for 2007, the Novosibirskenergo information division reported. The event was attended by the Mayor of Novosibirsk V. Gorodetsky, the Head of the Leninsky District Administration M.Stukalo, the Director General of OAO Novosibirskenergo A. Pelipasov, the Director General of OAO Novosibirskgorteploenergo A. Kozhin, as well as by the representatives of the City Council, deputies, power engineers, builders, and the residents of Zaton settlement.

Commissioning of the new central heat supply station and the heating main allowed for connection of Zaton settlement to the centralized heat supply from TPP-3. Now, 66 residential buildings, a care centre, a school and some other community facilities will get uninterruptible heat supply and forget about all failures which were so common here before, when the heat for the settlement was generated by a departmental boiler facility.

The construction of these facilities started back in 2007. During the past nine months, the heat supply station building was erected, state-of-the-art equipment was installed, a heat conduit (2,500 long) connecting TPP-3 with the settlement was laid (with the diameter of two pipes 300 mm each). The central heat supply station was fitted with a new transformer of a higher capacity, which means an improved quality of electrical power supply of Zaton settlement. The total investment of Novosibirskenergo in the implementation of this project amounted to 100 mln rubles.

At the opening ceremony, V. Gorodetsky, Mayor of Novosibirsk, expressed his gratitude to the power engineers and builders for such a rapid construction of the facilities that are so important for the city. The Mayor also noted that from now on the Zaton settlement offers much different conditions for its residents making their life more comfortable, and provides a good basis for the construction of new facilities.
