OREANDA-NEWS. A commission of Rosenergoatom’s General Inspection has started its work at Leningrad NPP.

The commission is to inspect the plant’s preparedness for the autumn-winter 2007-2008.

The commission is led by the deputy head of the Inspection Department of Rosenergoatom Concern M.Molchanov. Among the experts are representatives of Kola NPP.

The inspection will last till the end of this week. The experts will check up if Leningrad NPP is ready for the coming winter and will make recommendations on what it should do to meet the autumn-winter peak demand. If they see that the plant is ready, they will grant it a relevant certificate.

All REA NPPs undergo such a procedure every year.
