OREANDA-NEWS. Dixy Group, one of the leaders of Russian food retail market has declared a 42% revenue growth YoY for the 9 months 2007 (a 34% in RUB). According to the company's press service, Dixy Group overall revenue for the 9 months has reached US$ 990 mln, which is 42% higher that in the
same period in 2006. In RUB the amount was 25 638 mln. and is 34% higher vs. last year.

Retail revenue of Megamart in the 9 months was US$80 mln (2 062 mln RUB), which is 29% higherthan in the same period last year (22% in RUB) Retail revenue of Minimart in the 9 months was US$31 mln (793 mln RUB), which is 201% higher than in the same period last year (184% in RUB).

Net Sales growth in the first nine months is mainly drives from new store openings and same stores revenue growth. The Company continued its increase of effectiveness and efficiency of store operations programme and the management of the Company keeps as its main priority assortment optimization, improvement the infrastructure of the stores and development of own private label products.

Dixy Group is one of the leaders of Russian food retail market. A first Dixy store was opened in1999 in Moscow and by October 1, 2007 the Group has already operated 363 stores, including 349 Dixy (discounter) stores, 7 Megamart stores (compact hypermarkets) and 7 Minimart stores (supermarkets) in three Federal Districts of Russia. The Group's consolidated revenue in 2006 made US$1,009 mln.
