OREANDA-NEWS. Anton Atrashkin joined Renaissance Capital on November 1 as Head of Communications. Prior to this appointment he served as Advisor to the Chairman of the National Association of Direct Investments.

Mr. Atrashkin was the Russian spokesman for Madonna's "Confessions" tour in the Autumn of 2006. From 2004 to 2006 he worked for the British Embassy as Deputy Head of Press & Public Affairs. Mr. Atrashkin was a Senior Producer for the NTV News Desk (2001-2004) and led the Media and IT practice at MorganHunt, the banking and financial executive search firm (1998-2001). He started his career in the Oil & Gas Department of PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1994.

Mr Atrashkin received his Master's Degree in Conflict Resolution from Bradford University in 2002 and received a BSc in International Economics from the Plekhanov Economic Academy in 1995.
