OREANDA-NEWS. On November 8, the town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber hosted a meeting of the Coordinating Committee between Gazprom and E.ON Ruhrgas AG on sci-tech cooperation, staff training and qualification upgrading. The meeting was co-chaired by Vlada Rusakova, Member of the Gazprom Management Committee, Head of the Gazprom Strategic Development Department, Boris Kuzmin, Head of the Gazprom Personnel Management Department, Jurgen Lenz, Member of the E.ON Ruhrgas AG Management Board and Armin Geiss, Head of the E.ON Ruhrgas AG Personnel Department.

According to the Gazprom press service, the participants reported on the current situation of the sci-tech cooperation, advanced personnel training as well as cooperation between Gazprom and E.ON Ruhrgas AG in the gas sector.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the cooperation development and major results of the Sci-Tech Cooperation Program execution and staff Training & Qualification Upgrading Program. The parties also pondered on the perspective dialogue aimed at increasing the utilization of natural gas as motor fuel in Europe.

The meeting parties also addressed new principles for development of the Sci-Tech Cooperation Program during the next working period.

Within the visit to Germany, a Gazprom delegation visited Opel Special Vehicles Plant, which specializes in natural gas fueled vehicles.
