OREANDA-NEWS. On November 09, 2007 Baltkran company (Kaliningrad) has received order for production of two mobile bridge cranes for Novovoronezh NPP-2, reported the press-centre of Novovoronezh NPP-2.
 
The press service of the company reports that both cranes should be supplied to the client in early 2008. The length of the bridges should be 60 meters. One of the cranes will be able to simultaneously lift weights of 32 tons and 12,5 tons.

Baltkran has a big experience of designing and producing cranes for nuclear power industry. The company has so far supplied over 70 cranes of different models to nuclear power plants in Russia, China and India. In June 2007 Baltkran supplied a bridge crane to Leningrad NPP and is now manufacturing a crane for Kursk NPP. These cranes have a carrying capacity of 160 tons and will be used for transportation of containers with spent nuclear fuel to storage facilities.
