OREANDA-NEWS. The administration of Kazan received the last NEFAZ 5299-30-22 bus of the lot of 200 units, according to a 5-year contract with KAMAZ Leasing Company OJSC, the KAMAZ press service reports.

LC KAMAZ will continue delivering NEFAZ-5299-30-22 buses to Kazan in the short run. Not long ago the company signed contracts on delivery of 103 buses with the Kazan private carriers who had won the competitive tender for passenger transportation on the city’s new route network. It’s planned to deliver them 60 buses till the end of the year. 303 buses altogether will be delivered within the Kazan route network renewal program.

The NEFAZ 5299-30-22 city bus was developed in 2007, equipped with the Cummins engine of the “Euro-3” ecological standard and the Voith automatic gearbox. The bus meets the modern floor line requirements (only 36 cm from the road level): there are no steps at the entrances into the saloon through the front and middle doors which helps to cut boarding and deboarding time considerably. Besides, it’s easier for physically challenged passengers to board and deboard. There was produced the lot of 25 buses equipped with a special mechanism (a ramp) for passengers with locomotive system hindrances.

At the final meeting NEFAZ buses were rated high in comparison with other trademarks. Almost every bus is overhauled daily. This is very important for users because the bus is repaired only when in service, but not awaiting repair.

KAMAZ LC has got an opportunity to influence automobile development, taking into account clients’ wishes, and, besides, to decide a range of questions of service backup. At the expense of the lessor NEFAZ buses will pass TO 1000 and TO 5.500 certifications and will be insured by the lessees on favourable terms (OSAGO and KASKO).
