OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2007. One of the key topics was the possibility of employment of the students by Kalinin NPP after their graduation. The specialists of the plant shared their experience and answered the youths’ questions, reported the press-centre of Kalinin NPP.

Such meetings have already become a tradition. Their objective is to enhance the interest of students and schoolchildren in nuclear power engineering and to offer them career opportunities in the nuclear power industry.

Such meetings are very useful for both sides: universities graduate highly-qualified specialists, while nuclear power plants offer them jobs.

Presently, Kalinin NPP needs new employees as it has resumed the construction of its 4th unit and is to complete it by 2011. So, it should start preparing the ground already today so that when entering university the children of Udomlia and nearby areas choose nuclear power engineering as their future profession.
