OREANDA-NEWS. December 1, 2007. In November, JSC Bryanskenergo approved the Company Target Tree for the period to 2010. It also approved the strategic cards for the managers of the Company, key efficiency indices list, as well as a number of other documents necessary for the development of the target management system based on the Balanced Scorecards and further advancing of main provisions of the Company’s strategy.

The Mission of JSC Bryanskenergo was formed by the leading managers of the company this summer during the three sessions of the strategic seminar of JSC Bryanskenergo under the auspices of the Management System Director of JSC IDGC of the Center with the assistance of the representatives of the Strategic Department of JSC IDGC of the Center, as well as the consultants from Fainomica. At the seminar the company targets for the next three years were outlined, the strategic card drawn up and the target environment created.

The stem targets address enhancing business efficiency, customer-focused approach, efficient transmission and distribution of power supply, setting up a modern integrated management system based on the Balanced Scorecards System, switching from personnel management to HR management.

Each of the key targets has its subtargets, the reaching of which leads to resolving the main task – the company's vision for the period to 2010. Thus, for example, the target “Effective Transmission and Distribution of Power Supply" target includes seven subtargets, focusing on team work aimed at decreasing losses, increasing technological safety standards, and providing for an appropriate reliability level of power supply transmission. The top managers of JSC Bryanskenergo have been made responsible for achieving these targets. The work resulted in setting up all the basic elements of the balanced scorecard system.

The next step is to automate the process of collecting and analyzing the ways of reaching the target reaching. Presently, the introduction of SAP SEM CPM BSC (the balanced scorecard system) is in its final stage. Automation will be achieved with this powerful tool certified by The Balanced Scorecards Collaborative, a renown international organization.

Thus, JSC Bryanskenergo is the first company managed by JSC IDGC of the Center to realize a full-scale project on installing an automated balanced scorecard system in 2007.

The present project is being realized within the framework of the program on the multilevel development of the balanced scorecard system of JSC IDGC of the Center, headed by Pavel Obukhov, Management System Director of JSC IDGC of the Center. The main program target is to set up a full-scale multilevel balanced scorecard system of the united JSC IDGC of the Center, "migration" of advanced knowledge and technologies to all management levels, as well as involving managers in the process of strategic management. The work on the system development in JSC Bryanskenergo, JSC Kostromaenergo and JSC Lipetskenergo was carried out in accordance with the present program in 2007. In 2008 the program will cover all JSC IDGC of the Center affiliates.
