Alfa-Bank sponsored together with Southbank Centre and Bosco di Ciliegi the sensational premiere “Unknown Rachmaninoff”, performed by Denis Matsuev with the participation of world wide famous Russian National Orchestra conducted by Dmitry Liss, Alfa-Bank's press service announces.

The Serge Rachmaninoff Foundation in association with Sony BMG and Boosey & Hawkes presents Denis Matsuev “Unknown Rachmaninoff”. Denis Matsuev has become world famous musician, after he won the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, 1998. He performed on tours with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic under Yuri Temirkanov and with the Russian National Philharmonic under Vladimir Spivakov in South Africa, France, Great Britain, Germany and Austria.

The concert took place in the center of London, Queen Elizabeth Hall, what is well known for all great musicians and fans of classic music.

“Unknown Rachmaninoff” performance by Denis Matsuev reflected a wonderful Russian talent with a deep and respectful history of classic music. These compositions of Rachmaninoff were never played before, this why it was an exiting premiere for the artist and his fans of classic music.
