The head of the Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy Sergey Kiriyenko says that the instructions of the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev on cooperation in the nuclear sphere are being fulfilled ahead of the schedule.

Kiriyenko said that in Aktyubinsk after a meeting with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov and the head of Kazatomprom Mukhtar Jakishev.
“You know that we have adopted a complex cooperation program and have set up four joint ventures. We are already mining uranium and are establishing uranium enrichment center in the territory of Russia (Angarsk). So, the instructions of the presidents and the governments of the two countries are being fulfilled ahead of the schedule,” Kiriyenko said.
