OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2007. On December 21, MegaFon announced the results of "100 cars for 100 days" lottery and handed automobile keys to the winners, the company's press service announced.

The lottery, unprecedented for Russian telecom market, started in Russia on September 1, 2007 and finished on December 9. During one hundred days INFON, content provider (CJSC "Mobicon"), as a promotional lottery partner, and MegaFon, mobile operator, raffled off 100 Mercedes Benz cars – each one daily. Today, the keys of 100 Mercedeses were handed over to 99 winners – one of the "lucky guys" won two cars!  Altogether, during 100 lottery days over 1.4 Mln of the company's subscribers tried their luck!

86 cars of Mercedes Benz C180K, 13 of Mercedes Benz E200K and one Mercedes Benz ML350 were raffled off in MegaFon's "100 for 100" lottery. All vehicles were purchased from the official dealer of Mercedes Benz, LLC "Olymp" in St Petersburg.

The important feature of this super lottery is that in addition to the keys of prestigious automobiles each winner received a cash award to compensate income tax.

The lottery was organized on the basis of platform by Zed, Spanish firm, the largest European content-provider, which arranged similar campaigns in the networks of foreign operators  - Vodafone, Telcel etc., and in each campaign the Play rate of participants was no lower than 15.

Any subscriber of MegaFon - either an individual (starting from the age of 14) or a corporate user - from any region of the country could become a participant of "100 cars for 100 days" lottery. Mobile subscriber was to send any SMS to 1000 number in order to partcipate in the lottery. Each subsequent SMS to 1000 number would add 10 scores to the subscriber. Prize was drawn within 24 hours after the end of the each day.
