OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2007. Over the first eleven months of 2007, St. Petersburg Cartonboard and Printing Mill, Ilim Group, produced 228.3 thousand tonnes of cartonboard gross, including 197.6 thousand tonnes of market cartonboard, 13.7 thousand tonnes (7.4%) up as compared to the same period of 2006.

Output included the following amounts of cartonboard:

- Uncoated board — 25.5 thousand tonnes, 1.2 thousand tonnes (4.9%) up year-over-year;

- Coated board — 45.6 thousand tonnes, 2.3 thousand tonnes (5.3%) up year-over-year;

- Linerboard — 123.8 thousand tonnes, 16.3 thousand tonnes (15.1%) up year-over-year;

- Testliner output — 2.4 thousand tonnes, 0.5 thousand tonnes (26.3%) up as compared to January — November last year.

Match box board output amounted to 0.3 thousand tonnes, 6.6 thousand tonnes down as compared to January – November 2006.

Some changes in various production types are due to revision in the sales plans of the company's distributor Petroboard Trading and Knauf group companies.

Over the period, output of printed product totaled 21.1 thousand tonnes, 3.4 thousand tonnes (14.2%) down as compared to the same period of 2006. The production plan was realigned with the current market situation.

During the first eleven months of 2007, the output of disposable plates amounted to 70.2 million pcs, slightly (1%) up as compared with January – November 2006 results.
