OREANDA-NEWS. January 10, 2007. IBS has become a VIP Enterprise Partner of VMware, the world's leader in virtualization solutions. This is the top partner level available in Russia distinguishing partners that already have sophisticated expertise and experience in designing, building and supporting integrated solutions using VMware virtualization products and technologies, reported the press-centre of IBS.

IBS meets the VIP Enterprise partner level requirements including having VMware product experience and in-house staff certified as VMware Certified Professionals (VCP’s) and VMware Sales Professionals (VSP’s).

In 2007 IBS carried out a number of big integration projects using VMware products and virtualization technologies, including building the unified catalog of e-learning resources for 15 liberal arts higher education institutions, where VMware Infrastructure 3 Enterprise and VMware VirtualCenter Management Server virtualization solutions were used in deploying the system at the higher education institutions. VMware technologies were also used in projects carried out for G.V. Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics, I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy (in Russian), Moscow State University of International Relations (MGIMO) and the Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
