OREANDA-NEW. January 11, 2008. The gold medal of the second forum “EnergoPromExpo 2007” - the main award of the fair was granted to Territorial Generating Company No.9 for development and introduction of progressive technologies in power engineering, the company's press service reported. The Forum was held in Business information-exhibition center of the capital of Urals. Power engineers of OJSC Territorial Generating Company No.9 presented there their unique products in sphere of ecologic and economic improvement of energy production.

The exposition of the Company was located in the central area. The visitors of TGC-9 stand were interested in water treatment methods applied at power stations with usage of biomodule (fish and plant biomass), circular canonic emulsifier, ash catching, as well as in the devices for testing of automatic ac circuit-breakers and other equipment, presented by “Engineering Technical Center of Perm Region”, the branch of the Company.

There were also presented the products of TGC-9 specialists, having been introduced into operation within the cooperation with Institutes of higher education and research and development centers, as well as the patents of the Company’s specialists for the unique technologies.

The majority of the products presented have been applied in practice. The power engineers modified the equipment at power stations located in Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen Regions and the Perm Territory. Due to such modifications there was achieved the cost reduction in production of electricity and heat energy.

The exhibition format included the contest of students’ works related to energy savings, as well as “round tables”, seminars and the scientific and technical conference. The Technical Manager of the Production Directorate of the Company in Sverdlovsk Region, Leonid Soloviev made a speech on “TGC-9 is one of the main links in the chain of provision of energy safety to the Sverdlovsk Region”.

The leading economist, the employee of the Company, Maria Konovalova got the title of “Vice-Miss of power engineering 2007”.
