OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2007. GRASYS has supplied a mobile nitrogen station to RN-Yuganskneftegaz LLC, a subsidiary of OJSC NK Rosneft. The supplied nitrogen station is designated for gas compressors equipment and pipelines purging during well workover operations.

GRASYS mobile nitrogen station was designed in line with the rigid requirements of OJSC Rosneft operating companies and proves currently unparalleled in Russia and CIS with regard to its technical characteristics and manufacturing standards. Incorporating the leading-edge design achievements, GRASYS nitrogen stations combine compactness and high production capacity with reliability, serviceability and simplicity of operation. Among the latest technological developments are the complete heat isolation of the container (including floor) and the application of specialized thickened sandwich-panels, which allowed an almost double reduction in the station energy consumption for heating. The station operating temperature ranges between −50° C and +50° C.

The nitrogen station supplied enables the production from atmospheric air of 96% nitrogen at the rate of 250 nmі per hour. The manufacture of the station was based on the most up-to-date membrane technology of air separation.

The series of MA and MVA nitrogen stations includes nitrogen equipment with various technical characteristics to precisely match the needs of an operating company. The capacity of the stations varies between 100 and 5000 nmі per hour, nitrogen purity — between 90 and 99.5%, and the output gas pressure reaches 400 atm. GRASYS nitrogen stations are distinguished by the outmost reliability and are recommended for use at compressor stations, booster compressor stations, and underground gas storage facilities for purging and pressure testing of pipelines, drying, generation of impulse gas, preservation and other applications.
