OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2008. The considerable volume of investment in JSC Lipetskenergo (it forms a part of JSC IDGC of the Center) will now be directed to new construction and development of capacities in the regions of the area where active building is conducted, the company's press service informs. In particular, till 2010 it is planned to construct 5 new substations at the total price of 990.72 million rubles: Sb 110 kV Universitetskaya, Sb 110 kV Manezhnaya, Sb 110 kV Romanovo, Sb 110 kV Terbuny, Sb 35 kV Sselki village. More than 126 million rubles will be directed to expansion of Sb 110/35/10 kV Tsementnaya, Dvyrechki, Bugor and Sitovka. Almost 2.5 billion rubles will be assigned for replacement of equipment at Sb 110 kV and development of IT of the infrastructure of the company, as well as for reconstruction of middle and low voltage grids.

"In comparison with the last years, the growth of investments in JSC Lipetskenergo equals over 150 %," Deputy General Director for the capital construction Rashid Rikamov said. "Input of new substations will allow us not to admit deficiency of capacity, to raise reliability of electricity supply of consumers of the Lipetsk area and to provide opportunities of connection of new consumers to the electric networks."

In 2008, the volume of capital investments of JSC Lipetskenergo will equal more than 1 billion 8 million rubles. Nearby 551 million rubles is planned to invest in new construction. Other means will be directed to modernisation and reconstruction.
The items of the investment program of 2008 are construction of new substations, construction of lines according to proposals of Heads of the Administrations of the areas and reconstruction of electric mains. Thus, 63 million will be spent for construction of new lines OL-0.4 kV and OL-10 kV, and reconstruction will take 290 million rubles.
