OREANDA-NEWS. On 31 January 2008 it was announced, that the Open Society "Aeroflot - Russian airlines" (Aeroflot) plans to receive 40 new planes up to the end of 2010. The deputy general director on strategic and corporate planning of the company Kirill Budaev informed it about during the conference.

In particular, it is planned to get 20 planes SuperJet-100 by manufacture of the Closed Joint-Stock Company "Civil planes of Sukhoy" (CPS) which should be used on intraregional routes. The company is measured to get 10 planes Boeing-737. Other planes will belong to the family Airbus.

Besides, in 2008 Aeroflot plans to receive eight Boeing-737 for replacement of the park of Tu-134, one air vessel should be delivered in leasing, the others - in rent. In the end of 2008 the company is measured to receive two planes Airbus A320 and А330.
 
Receipt of new planes will promote increase in the volume of passenger traffic of Aeroflot as the strike of hours should be increased, K.Budaev noted.

Aeroflot is the largest Russian air carrier, it get 39% of international and 11% of home markets of aviatransportations in the Russian Federation. The control share holding belongs to the state, about 30% of shares have the deputy of the State Duma Alexander Lebedev, nearby 15% - management of the company owns.

The park of Aeroflot for February, 1st, 2007 makes 88 planes, including: Tu-134 - 14, Тu-154 - 28, Il-96 - 6, А319 - 8, А320 - 10, А321 - 7, B767 - 11, DS-10 - 4.

The consolidated net profit of Aeroflot in January-September, 2006 grew in comparison with the similar period of 2005 up 46.2% to $186.3mln, incomes - up 15.7% to $2.112mlrd
Aeroflot borrows 36 place in the "Leading enterprises of Russia" rating on the results of 2006, presented by the rating agency AK&M in September, 2007.
