OREANDA-NEWS. February 5, 2008. Bank Electronika has extended its Russian Winter program for individuals until February 22, 2008. The Management Board of the Bank decided to extend the program because of the great interest clients have shown in the proposal, which has been in effect since December 10, 2007. All depositors who take part in the program, in addition to receiving high interest rates on their funds, will receive a gift and preferential terms on several services for individuals.

High interest rates are the advantage of the Russian Winter deposits. These ruble-denominated accounts pay interest of up to 12% per year, depending on term to maturity. There is a 5,000-ruble minimum initial deposit for the accounts. Additional deposits of 1,000 rubles or more may be made to the accounts, which have terms of 31 days, 91 days, 181 days, and 367 days.

Interest on the accounts is paid at maturity; the earnings will be deposited to the account that the depositor designates. If withdrawals are made from the account, in part or in full, before the term expires, the Bank will pay interest at the rate applicable to “on demand” deposits.

All individuals who open a Russian Winter deposit, regardless of term, will receive a Visa International international payment card with free servicing for one year. Depending on the amount of the deposit, that card may be a Visa Electron, a Visa Classic or a Visa Gold card.

Upon opening a Russian Winter account, all clients of the Bank will receive a ten percent discount on rental of an individual safe-deposit box for any desired term at any office of the Bank where safe-deposit boxes are offerred.

Special gifts from Bank Electronika will be given to all participants of the Russian Winter program.
