OREANDA-NEWS. February 7, 2008. In Q1 2008, the production corporation Gomselmash will supply 10 combine harvesters Polesie-600 to Iran. The relative contract with the Iranian side was signed in Gomel on February 6.

Combine harvester Polesie-600 have been already working on the Iranian fields since 2006. The first batch composed of four combine harvesters was tested in Iran and then, a long-term dealer contract was signed with one of the Iranian companies. The machines equipped with the 235 hp engines are supplied to the Iranian market.

According to Igor Korotkevich, the contract for the delivery of ten combine harvesters to Iran is the first step on the way of implementation of the joint actions scheduled for the current year. During the talks, Iranian partners confirmed their readiness to boost the import of Belarusian agricultural machinery.

Production corporation Gomselmash is a multi-business producer of machines used to cultivate and harvest basic crops utilising contemporary agrarian technologies. The company’s line-up includes machines for harvesting grain, forage crops, sugar beet, potato, as well as mowers and machines for complex soil cultivation.

Many times Gomselmash won awards at contests “Belarus Best Products” and “Belarus Best Products in the Russian Federation”. The corporation was established on the basis of Gomselmash plant in 1978.
