OREANDA-NEWS. February 13, 2008. Rosenergoatom Concern has become the winner of the 7th All-Russian Competition “Russian Organization of High Social Efficiency 2007” in Nuclear Energy nomination.

The awarding ceremony took place in Kremlin Palace, Moscow, on Feb 12. Over 2,000 people took part in it: managers of leading companies, heads of regional administrations and local governments, scientists and public figures.

The branches of Rosenergoatom Concern, Beloyarsk and Nalakovo NPPs won in the Nuclear Energy nomination. Volgodonsk NPP was the second in the Personnel Training and Qualification nomination. Bilibino NPP was among the best in the Medical Care nomination.

It is the third time that Rosenergoatom Concern has taken part in the competition. In 2007 the concern was the best in the Remuneration and Social Benefits nomination.

Vice Prime Minister of Russia Aleksey Kudrin said that the winners of the competition had proved that by investing money in the human capital a company could achieve success and become competitive.

The competition has been conducted every year since 2000. The next awarding ceremony is scheduled for late 2009.
