OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 February 2008 was announced, that UniCredit Bank officially opened a branch office in Nizhniy Novgorod, the Bank’s 10th regional one in Russia.

The Nizhniy Novgorod one has become the first branch, opened after re-branding of the Bank. From December 20, 2007 International Moscow Bank (IMB) officially changed its name to UniCredit Bank due to integration to UniCredit Group. This event marked the start of moving to the higher stage of business and brand development.

The Bank has been successfully providing services to corporate clients in Nizhniy Novgorod and the region since October, 2002, when the regional representative office was opened. There are leading enterprises of the region among the Bank’s customers in Nizhniy Novgorod, representing such spheres as engineering, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, fuel and energy industry, pulp and paper industry, timber processing, oil refining and chemical industry.

Operating as a representative office in Nizhniy Novgorod the Bank gave a significant impetus to regional economy by providing different kinds of loans, leasing and documentary operations. The volume of loans provided to the regions’ enterprises by the moment has exceeded USD 300 mln.

After being transformed into a branch the Bank strives to become one of the major retail banking market players of the region, offering to private customers such products as car and consumer loans, mortgages, plastic cards etc. on highly competitive terms. Along with above the regional branch office will advance loans to small and medium enterprises.

The branch of UniCredit Bank is situated at Kostina St. 20, Nizhny Novgorod and is opened from 9.00 to 17.45 (Monday — Thursday), from 9.00 to 16.30 (on Fridays and days before holidays). There are two twenty-four-hour ATMs (one has a cash-in function), and an Internet-stand with access to the site of UniCredit Bank and Enter.UniCredit.
