According to information given by the industrial department of the Novosibirsk administration, the volume of produced and shipped goods, of accomplished works and services in clean economic activity of production and processing facilities and the volume of production and distribution of electricity, gas and water amounted to 117.7 bln rubles. This rate has grown by 19.6% on the year-on-year basis in current prices. In case of processing facilities, shipping grew by 23.6% (specific weight in the total shipping volume for the city is 70.5%).

Salary growth rate in the industrial sphere confirms that during the last years industry has been experiencing positive changes. For instance, in the companies focused on production and distribution of electricity, gas and water are the salary is over 17,000 rubles (a 25% growth). Average salary at the mineral production enterprises reached the level of 14.300 rubles (a 45.7% growth). Average salary paid at processing enterprises increased by 27% and reached 13,200 rubles. Large and medium-sized enterprises offer, in general, an average monthly salary (on the basis of data for January-November) of 14,000 rubles.

Average registered number of employees at production and processing enterprises, electricity, gas and water production and distribution enterprises amounted to over 102,000 people. Increase in the number of employees was marked at production and processing enterprises.

About 7 bln rubles of investments were assigned for the development of capital assets in industry. Investments in processing enterprises, as compared to 2006, grew 1.3-fold. According to the experts of the industrial department of the Novosibirsk administration, this is, in the first place, due to investments in metallurgy and production of finished metal products (454.4 mln rubles, a 2.9-fold growth). Investments in the production of other non-metal mineral products (resulting in over 686 mln rubles) and in the development of transport and equipment production (resulting in over 228 mln rubles) both grew two-fold.
