OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2008. MIEL-Brokerage, a part of MIEL Holding, has a new Chief Executive Officer. The top post at the company has been taken by Alexei Shlenov, who was previously the Deputy CEO of MIEL-Brokerage with responsibility for the regular property market.

The appointment of Mr Shlenov heralds development and application of new service formats and exclusive special projects at MIEL-Brokerage. The company will also change the structure of its business service provision, adapting it to ensure the best-possible match with new ways of thinking among market participants.

Company plans include further development of the secondary housing segment, legal support for property deals, mortgage credits, and luxury property, and special attention will be given to regional development. However, Mr Shlenov gave an assurance that overall structure of the business and of the company itself will not be significantly altered. All of the declared changes are part of ongoing plans and in line with the company’s general development trends.

“We have worked carefully in recent periods to improve quality of our services and now that our customer loyalty indicators are at a high level the company is ready to significantly expand its clientele. Efficient and developing business will be the touchstone for MIEL-Brokerage in the future,” Alexei Shlenov said.

The former head of MIEL-Brokerage, Natalia Kirpichenko, will be responsible for implementing a new federal mortgage lending project, detailed information of which will be presented in spring this year.

Alexei Shlenov was born in 1969 in Moscow. He completed his studies at Bauman State Technical University in 1993, and is currently following an Executive MBA course at the Higher School of Management (part of the State University – Higher School of Economics).

Mr Shlenov has worked on the residential property market since 1994. He joined MIEL in 1998 and was appointed Deputy CEO of MIEL-Brokerage with responsibility for the secondary residential property market in January 2007.
