OREANDA-NEWS. February 28, 2008. On the threshold of the active sales season Empils held an event aimed at increase of the sales team working efficiency in the territory of the Russian Federation in 2008. Middle management employees — regional managers, trade marketing specialists, territorial managers, supervisors and key account managers from all regions of Russia from the central areas to the Far East participated in it.

The network of the regional representative offices of Empils was developed in 2006. The employees of representative offices, working in the same information field, interact with distributors, subdistributors, retail shops and local and federal trading networks, and promote products of the company along all distribution channels. Strong sales team in the regions is the powerful instrument to influence paint and varnish market and qualitative client service organization.

The program of the conference included reports of Empils top-managers, presentations of enterprise work results in 2007 and plans for 2008. The participants could familiarize themselves with changes in assortment policy of the company and product promotion programs and discuss them. An extensive training program was also offered to the participants of the event. Seminars and trainings were conducted both by Empils employees and invited business — trainers.

According to Mikhail Kryachkov, Director of Empils Trade Center, main purpose of the event was to inform personnel of the regional representative offices about those demands which the company would place on the sales team work in 2008. During trainings sales specialists were taught to use instruments aimed at increase of their activity efficiency. At present the formation of the sales team in the regions is completed. This year the company does not plan an increase of the number of sales personnel but expects qualitative improvement of its work.

The event held is a part of Empils' regional sales system development complex program.
