OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2008. The economic activity between Belarus and Russia is so high, that it has no analogues in the world, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said at a meeting with Chairman of the Russian government Viktor Zubkov on March 21.

“I am very happy that our meetings always result in progress in the implementation of bilateral agreements”, the head of state noted. Alexander Lukashenko expressed his gratitude to the President and Premier of Russia for the prompt and successful development of the recent Belarusian-Russian projects, for example, the ones concerning the construction of the Olympic facilities in Sochi.

According to Alexander Lukashenko, “there are no serious obstacles in the Belarusian-Russian trade now”. “I suppose even if any minor disagreements occur in the relations between the two counties, they can be easily ironed out”, the President concluded.
