The pipe-line Kenkiyak-Kumkol with length more than 760 km is the important project of development of Kazakhstan's oil and gas transportation structure. It will connect oil and gas transportation systems of Western and Eastern affiliated societies of SC "KazTransOil" and in such a way it will make the route of oil transportation from Western Kazakhstan to China.

Acting Director General of KhTW Aleksey Borovykov has said: "In 2005-2006 Khartsyzsk Tube Works supplied about 120 thousand tons of LDP to Kazakhstan, among them for the pipe line Atasu-Alashankou which was being constructed in that time. It was the biggest and the most responsible project in oil branch of Kazakhstan. The pipe line Atasu-Alashankou was the second stage of building the delivery pipe on which Kazakh oil is supplied to China. Khartsyzsk Tube Works did all the best to supply high quality tube production in time. That's why the suppliers from Kazakhstan applied to our company again. In total within the limits of the project for building the pipe line Kenkiyak-Kumkol it is planned to supply about 40 thousand tons of LDP to Kazakhstan. The peculiarity of manufactured pipes is rather high demands to the quality of weld joints and anticorrosion coating, which will be checked by the international inspection".
