OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 March 2008 was announced, that managing directors, IT managers and heads of the quality management divisions of DGC of IDGC of Centre’s footprint are going to take part in the seminar organised by IDGC of Centre and IDS Sheer and Fainomika consulting companies. The aim of the seminar is to form uniform understanding of the process-oriented management principles and study of the applied techniques.

Since 2004 IDGC of Centre has realized a number of IT projects targeted at development of the management system of the company united by the uniform basic process-oriented management concept. The first project concerned strategic goals development and balanced scorecards system construction. In 2006 the company engaged in optimization and unification of business process under SAP R/3 and quality management system introduction planning from 2007 to switch to process-oriented management of the company. For this purpose it was necessary to implement business efficiency assessment system. In 2007 business efficiency control automated system based on ARIS Process Performance Management (PPM) platform was completed. 

This allowed to create preconditions for organization of the full life cycle of the company’s business-process management based on ARIS uniform platform (which is IDS Sheer’s product). The cycle includes strategy development, their implementation and contra.

“… the majority of companies today use the so-called functional method in management. Such structures have strict hierarchy and their management is formed in accordance with dependence of subdivisions and employees. Such form of construction of the company does not allow to realise in full the new requirements that the present market demands. The functionally oriented structures have no connection between their subdivisions and the activity is not transparent”, said Dmitriy Alyoshin, Director for Organisational Development of IDGC of Centre. “In our development we aim at increase of efficiency, activity transparency and final result delivery. This is achieved with the help of the process oriented approach. It should be noted that process management became a world-wide factor that is one of the requirements to efficient management of companies. It is very important for the regional companies’ top management to understand conditions that depend from the market because presence of such systems of company management is an important advantage that contributes to successful development of the companies…”

Today IDGC of Centre is the unique Russian company that successfully demonstrated its conformity to the international standard and passed through certification within ISO 9001:2000 limits according to ISO 10006  Quality management. Quality management at project management specialized standard and also conformity to the second level of the company’s organizational and technical maturity model in the field of project management. For the present time DGC of IDGC of Centre’s footprint is performing new complex programs on QMS implementation.

The seminar will take place right before Energy Process 2008. Modern technologies in energy company management conference held by IDS Sheer company (Moscow, 27 April, Golden Ring hotel). Participants of the conference – Russian power companies’ representatives on economy and finance, strategy and business development, corporate management, quality managements,   informational technologies, and also representatives of Russian consulting companies.

At Energy Process 2008 conference the powermen’s reports will be presented. They will concern process that are taking place in the branch, practice of modern management methods and techniques, experience of Russian power companies on reforming of their activity. The conference participants will discus the main aspects of the power companies’ activity under the conditions of reforming: strategy, management system (including quality management system), main business processes (both internal and market-related processes), process management and their delivery in informational systems.
