OREANDA-NEWS. April 4, 2008. Vladimir Romanov, Chairman of the Management Board of Bank Electronika to Take Part in the XIX Congress of the Association of Russian Banks.

The main theme of the event is expansion of crediting as the key factor in Russia’s economic growth. The issue is timely: Today’s approach to economic development needs improvement. In the opinion of analysts, a modern economy should be based not on a distribution system, but on mechanisms of credit activity. Participants in the congress will present papers that address mortgage and consumer credit, the use of budget resources, and many other topics. As part of the event, attendees will discuss global and intra-corporate problems of the Russian banking system.

Bank Electronika is an official sponsor of the XIX congress in which more that 1,500 delegates – heads of banks and federal organizations associated with the financial sector, representatives of government authorities and institutions of higher learning in Russia –  will take part.

Vladimir Romanov, Chairman of the Management Board of Bank Electronika noted: “Since the last congress of the ARB, Bank Electronika has traveled quite some distance on the path toward development. We have designed a new strategy and rolled out a large-scale retail project. This congress affords an opportunity for the entire banking community to consider to what extent our plans and efforts correspond to their interests.”
