OREANDA-NEWS. April 4, 2008. URSA Bank is pleased to announce its results for the first quarter of 2008. As at April 1, 2008, the total assets of URSA Bank amounted to RUR 292.2 billion, which is double as high as compared to the April 1, 2007 results*.

Net assets (per Interfax methodology) grew by 1.9 times and reached RUR 202.4 billion. As at April 1, 2008, the equity of the Bank increased by 2.1 times and reached RUR 25.8 billion.

The total loan portfolio grew by 58.2% to reach RUR 119.1 billion. The retail portfolio increased by 90% amounting to RUR 62.3 billion, the corporate portfolio increased by 34% and reached RUR 56.8 billion.

The funding base grew by 55.4% to amount to RUR 137.5 billion. The retail deposit portfolio increased by 69.8% and amounted to RUR 62.9 billion. The borrowings from international financial institutions grew by 43.6% to reach RUR 60.6 billion. The retained earnings of the Bank grew by 2.8 times to reach RUR 1.6 billion.
