OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2008. Bank Electronika is co-organizer of the 6th international contest of scientific-educational projects, Energy of the Future 2008. The contest, open to students of high schools and secondary specialized educational institutions, will take place in Moscow from April 5 through 10, 2008.

The Federal Agency on Nuclear Energy of the Russian Federation, the Nuclear Academy, the Institute of Learning with Textbook PAIDEIA, the Union of Nuclear Territories and Enterprises, the Nuclear Safety Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Techsnabexport, TsNIIAtominform, and the Kurchatov Institute organized the contest. Russia’s largest industrial and financial businesses extended sponsoring support for the event. 

The jury for the contest is made up of specialists from various scientific areas and heads of enterprises in sectors related to the competition. These professionals will evaluate the students’ entries – scientific-educational projects in spheres of energy, ecology, society, problems of radiation, and scientific achievements. 

More than 360 applications for participation in the contest came from students in 30 regions of Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. Nominees whose work passed a preliminary qualifying review were admitted to the finals. Winners will receive awards at a ceremony to take place on April 10, 2008.
