OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 April 2008 was announced, that Soyuzinform, a subsidiary of OAO, in collaboration with "AjTi" company, is setting out to create a comprehensive information and analytical system for the Federal Financial Markets Service of Russia (FFMS).

The upgrade of the FFMS’s infrastructure is aimed to solve a number of key issues. The most important task is to automate nearly 30 of the agency’s management processes, including documentation and workflow, licensing and registration procedures, register maintenance, processing of reports of financial market participants, as well as monitoring of exchange trade and over-the-counter trading.

In addition, the system has to arrange for reliable data sharing between over 40 regional offices of the FFMS and to integrate its information resources with information systems of other executive bodies and municipal authorities. This would allow the FFMS to access on timely basis the required data on the registration of legal entities and various reporting documentation.

By 2009, some 500 work stations are to be automated at the FFMS’s headquarters and regional offices in the Central Federal District. Later on, the system will be deployed in all the remaining branches of the FFMS.

Implementation of large and comprehensive IT projects for both federal and regional public authorities has been one of the major revenue streams for the ARMADA Group. “In 2007, we won over 100 government tenders,” said ARMADA’s CEO Alexei Kuzovkin. “Our most impressive projects in this sphere are the modernization of the IT infrastructure at 78 regional offices of the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), the development of an information system for the registration of car owner liability insurance, the creation of a single information space for such agencies as the Agriculture Ministry, Economic Development and Trade Ministry and the Federal Insurance Supervision Service,” Mr. Kuzovkin added.
