OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 April 2008 was announced, that the Ukrainian carrier Dnepravia starts performing flights to Simferopol to Moscow International Airport Domodedovo. The flights will be operated daily by Boeing 737.

It is the second Dnepravia service to Domodedovo airport. The opening of new destination is to meet the demand of Russian tourists, who have been demonstrating the great interest in the Crimea resorts. In 2007 the passenger traffic between Moscow and Simferopol amounted to 186 000 passengers, that is a 12% rise over 2006.

From April, 26 Donbassaero will be operating the second flight to Donetsk. Initially it will be performed once a week and from May, 19 the flight frequency will increase to 6 flights per week. The flights will be performed twice a week by Boeing 737 as per the following schedule:
