OREANDA-NEWS. April 24, 2008. The equipment transfer is within the framework of “Svetoch” and the NWTC’s strategic alliance as the owners. The united structure of Sales Departments of the above companies is located now in the office of the NWTC Management Company (St. Petersburg, Obvodny channel, 191). The heads of the united sales structure are Ilya Batkin (Commercial Director of LLC “Svetoch”) and Mikhail Vasin (Sales Director of the NWTC for paper-stationary goods). In addition to Sales Departments union there were united Marketing Departments and Design-studios.

Our customers can purchase full assortment of high-quality paper-stationary goods. Those are a wide range of exercise-books, office papers by the NWTC, albums for painting, drawing folders, notebooks, alphabet notebooks, diaries and datebooks, books of records, address folders, color paper and cardboard, calendars.

The new Sales Department will offer new high-quality products. Shortly before the union of the NWTC and “Svetoch” there were completely renewed designs of exercise-books and albums for painting, and drawing folders. There are more than 500 new designs. Moreover at Neman PPM we started production of color paper for office equipment “Office MASTER color” of yellow, blue, pink, green and peach colors. “Svetoch” presented new diaries of A5 format of category “Office” and “Business” with covers of Italian materials and leather with edge gilding and silver-plating. One more innovation is an alphabet book with cover of foam-backed tucson with blind embossing.

The NWTC and “Svetoch” are planning to develop assortment of paper-stationary goods. The whole production volume will be manufactured at Neman Pulp-and-Paper Mill (Kaliningrad region) and at Kamennogorsk Offset Paper Mill (Leningrad region) included into the NWTC Group. Three German exercise-book lines and two lines for cutting and packaging office papers are successfully working for a long period. The new own printing plant was opened at Neman PPM in April.

Today there was started the equipment dismantling at “Svetoch” production site located on Petergoff chaussee in St.Petersburg. Two printing machines “Zircon” and “Rapida”, and bindery machines, stitcher machines, and folding machines will be transferred to Neman PPM printing plant. The lines for production of calendars, diaries, notebooks, flat-and-back stripping machines and other devices will be transferred to the other enterprises of the Group. The transfer of equipment will decrease the prime cost of products. For “Svetoch” products there will be used the paper by the NWTC free of chlorine and chlorine compounds.
