OREANDA-NEWS. April 30, 2008. The first week of April saw the largest tube and metalware exhibitions in Dьsseldorf - Wire’2008 and Tube’2008.

Among 2,157 participants were representatives of ESTAR Group, including A.V. Rybkin, a managing director at JSC Zlatoust metallurgical plant. During the exhibitions, the plant managed to establish dozens of new business contacts. Many companies from Europe and Asia revealed their interest in the plant’s products. Thus, Poland remembers products by Zlatoust plant since the Soviet times and is willing to continue cooperation. Turkish representatives wanted to buy Russian die, calibrated and stainless steel, but prefer to work directly with producers, rather than via mediators. The Netherlands is willing to buy tube stock, whereas Scandinavia has great demand for long blanks similar to those NMP produces. German producers are interested in stainless and tool steel.

It will be easier for JSC NMP to enter new sectors of the foreign market after the plant installs proper machinery and equipment by Lцser firm. With new devices the plant will expand its product line and enhance quality of its products. Thus, the management plans to increase exports from 5,000 to 10,000 t.
